Act 3 - The Crossing of the Threshold

Upon entering Area 1 Level 1 - Sandy Shores - Sunwash Beach, they are immediately greeted by a female turtle who has lost her baby turtle children. She explains that she saw them running along the beach in a panic.

Character - Koopa and Character - Kiko venture through Area 1 Level 1 - Sandy Shores - Sunwash Beach, crossing beaches and obstacles, and successfully rescue two of the five baby turtles.

After saving the second baby turtle, the child explains that they saw their sibling being loaded onto an evil crab pirate ship, led by a big, scary crab known as Boss - King Kragg.

Character - Koopa and Character - Kiko rush to the docks at the end of the beach and witness the pirate ship leaving port, heading toward a network of caves. Determined to save the kidnapped baby turtle, they decide to follow.

This concludes Area 1 Level 1 - Sandy Shores - Sunwash Beach and signals the beginning of Level 2, which takes place in a cave and boat dock area, where the evil pirate ship can be seen anchored deeper within.

Inside the cave, Character - Koopa and Character - Kiko unlock the Elemental Fire Hat which allows them to fire cannons. These cannons are used to launch each other across gaps and dangerous water, as well as to fire projectiles that break walls and damage the pirate ship.

Once all cannons in the area have been fired, Boss - King Kragg lets out a mighty roar, shaking the entire cave. The pirate ship breaks free and escapes further into the cave system.

Character - Koopa and Character - Kiko discover a small boat and give chase.

Following trails of debris and broken ship parts, they arrive at a vast cavern containing what appears to be a small mountain at its centre, surrounded by water and wreckage from the pirate ship.

To begin climbing the mountain, Character - Koopa and Character - Kiko must search the surrounding area for parts to repair cannons, which are used to destroy the large rocks Boss - King Kragg has placed in their path.

Once the route is cleared, Character - Koopa and Character - Kiko climb the mountain to confront Boss - King Kragg.
